Components

Overview

The IEEE SA OPEN Source Community and Infrastructure Team organizes its work into logical categories it calls “components”. Components are made up of capabilities, which are roughly analogous to the concept of initiatives from agile project management.

This page serves to document the current status of the work being done in each component. Components represent the primary capability undertaken by the IEEE SA OPEN Community. Dividing the work into logical groupings serves to make capabilities more accessible to use, adopt, or make contributions. These components highlight the keystones of the diverse nature of work needed to support open source Community and Platform. These components are intended to be ubiquitous for any open source project or community that would like to adopt them as part of their reporting and documentation process.
